On April 8-9, 2025, the most significant rail logistics forum in the region, the Rail Freight Summit 2025, took place in Gdańsk. Jūlija Bērziņa, a board member of AS “Baltijas Tranzīta Serviss,” participated in the event.
During the summit, Jūlija Bērziņa gained valuable practical experience by visiting the Baltic Hub, one of the largest and most modern container terminals in Europe. The terminal processes four times more containers annually than the entire port of Riga, demonstrating the potential for regional development and efficiency.
Participation in the summit not only provided insights into the latest industry trends and digitalization solutions but also facilitated the establishment of new contacts and the foundation for potential international cooperation.
AS “Baltijas Tranzīta Serviss” continues to actively monitor industry developments and seek opportunities for innovation, with the aim of strengthening Latvia's position as a competitive logistics hub in the Baltic region and providing private rail freight services.
