Pre-application for receiving funding from EU funds

On February 14, 2023, the Free Port of Riga, together with the Port of Stockholm and the Port of Klaipēda, as well as in cooperation with the subsidiary company of JSC "Riga Port" - LLC "Riga Ropax Terminal" - submitted a joint pre-application for receiving funding from EU funds in the "Interreg" program. The purpose of the application is to conduct research on the possibilities of reducing the ecological footprint in passenger terminals located in the city center. The research will focus on three aspects - air, sound and water pollution. After the preliminary application is approved, a detailed project application must be submitted.
