On November 14, RIKON – the only gantry crane manufacturer in the Baltics – presented two unique gantry cranes at Riga Port. The cranes were manufactured at the port for a Turkish client and will be delivered in the coming days to Isdemir Port in the Mediterranean Sea.

“We are delighted to have initiated cooperation within the territory of Riga Port Group’s company, Riga Central Terminal. The collaboration has been smooth and constructive, reflecting the professional approach of both parties. We are confident that we will continue to implement new projects together, creating significant value for both the Latvian and international markets,” emphasized Alīna Deimonta, Chief Economist of RIKON.

By mid-next year, assembly work for an additional four gantry cranes is planned at Riga Central Terminal. These cranes, like the current ones, will be shipped from the company’s berths to their destination port in Turkey.
